These pen holders are really good. After a very short time, the pen was held correctly. I can definitely recommend her.

    Great

First of all: I use the handles in a class with students with severe motor difficulties. Depending on the student, I have to look for special solutions. I also use the usual grip solutions (triangle, foam rubber, ergonomically shaped, etc.), even if I still do without such aids as far as possible. I have had a few very good experiences with these loop parts, because they practically do not allow a bad posture (but you still have to support them if necessary).

However, I would always refrain from such aids for children without motor difficulties, as experience has shown that this usually takes care of itself.

The handles serve their purpose well, do not smell unpleasant and are soft. My child (right-handed) gets along well with it. I (left-handed) could only use this proofing tool with some concessions. The supports for the middle finger and thumb are then simply reversed.

    "Assembly"
The pen holders are simply pushed onto a pen. Suitable diameters include (Ikea) pencils or the Stabilo Fineliner. The assembly is easy, the holders are then more or less tight depending on the diameter, but thanks to the silicone surface they do not slip.

    Application
You put your index finger in the loop on the side. This is attached at an angle and means that when you grip the pen, your fingers are automatically brought into the correct position in relation to each other. This works very well for a right-handed person. I'm not left-handed, but I tried the holder on my left hand and I think it should work there too.

    Conclusion
Children who have a normal pen position certainly do not need this holder. However, children who have problems with holding their pencils correctly are gently guided in the right direction by this holder and practice correct posture. People who have problems holding a pen for reasons of strength could also benefit: With the loop, the pen sits quite firmly on the finger and only has to be guided, but no longer held.

Good-quality grip aid made of matt silicone, which comes in 6 beautiful, child-friendly pastel colors. For the price you actually get all 6 pieces - so far, so good. As I said, the colors were also well received by the child.

Our 6-year-old son gets his average wide (pointing) finger (is not particularly thin) through the hole very well. It is funnel-shaped so that the finger cannot slip down but remains exactly in its position. As a result, he grabs the pen just right [with his thumb and middle finger].

Unfortunately, only very narrow pens, i.e. colored pencils or colored pencils, fit through the opening intended for pens. Narrow felt-tip pens somehow fit through with a lot of pushing force, but get stuck quickly. And, unfortunately, wider pens cannot be gripped with this grip aid.

At first viewed with skepticism, but then quickly accepted by the child. Cramps from writing have quickly become less and the handwriting has improved. Child uses the grip aid voluntarily, also in class. Highly recommended

Top parts! Some of my students have now learned how to hold their pencils correctly.
Too bad they aren't also available for thick pens!

  9. M***a -

The grips for pens are not only suitable for pencils but actually for pens of all kinds.
Holding the pens properly with it is really extremely easy.
Our son finds it much easier with it than without.

I've been looking for a way to make writing easier for my son for a long time. Great helpers for children and adults too, the rubber for the fingers could be a little softer, otherwise very great
