How often do you not sit at the corner piece and think: Isn't there a tool I can use to simply measure this instead of racking my brain over the dimensions?
Yes, there is. Simply brilliant, especially for measuring doors etc when laying floors or other work. Goes into the toolbox :-)

How do I cut out a structure in a solid workpiece such as wood or similar, to adjust a door frame, for example?
With a contour gauge :-)
Put it on, trace the recorded shape on the workpiece and you're done.

I ordered this contour gauge to lay my laminate at home. With this I can now draw the shapes of pipes and door frames on the laminate and saw them out. Otherwise it was always very imprecise and either too big or too small. It is easy to use and also fits easily in the tool case.

I should have needed the contour gauge much earlier in my life, a great tool. If I had always had a lot of work and rework to lay the floor (laminate, parquet floor), I would have had the contour gauge back then. Recesses on doors can really be perfectly measured in one go and quickly transferred to the material. Top tool.

We bought a house and had to put new flooring there and we're over Spargut Bought a laminate cutter and this contour knife. So my husband was able to lay the laminate himself and everything fit perfectly. Cheap product that helps a lot. So we saved a lot of money on a handyman. Thumbs up! :)
