I ordered the fountain for my children. Simply because they wanted a well. We either swam around with the device in the paddling pool or put it in a large bowl and "decorated".
As long as the sun shines directly on it, the fountain works really well. When the sun shines on it, the device starts pumping straight away. As soon as it gets shadier, then of course it stops immediately or at least becomes very slight.
There are several attachments for the fountain and depending on which the water splashes at different heights.
Of course it's a pity that the fountain only works when the sun is shining, but you don't need batteries or power cables etc.
I think it's really cheap for a great product.

The fountain is really great. It works perfectly in sunshine and even in the mild winter, it still tries its best to pump at least a few drops in daylight. In summer you should try to fix it with stones in the middle of the vessel, otherwise it will move to the edge and pump the water out over the edge within a short time. If many birds bathe, the nozzle will become dirty regularly and then needs to be cleaned briefly. But this works without any problems. All in all extremely recommendable.

We found the solar fountain very funny, even if the reviews were very different. We think it's really great as a small accessory for our pond. When the sun is shining he is very active and splashes around and the fish are happy. Even with some shade a medium fountain could be seen. It is best to fix the fountain somehow in the pond, since the fountain moves the fountain. The nozzle should also be cleaned from time to time, as it logically gets dirty in the pond when there is algae growth, etc.

Ordered this small fountain for our small dog pool because our animals love it when something moves in the water.
Delivery was super fast and everything was well packaged, there are several attachment nozzles so you can change them again and again or just see what suits you best.
The pump works very well in full sunlight and also sprays up nicely (approx. 50cm), but you don't want to expect more from such a part.
But as soon as the solar radiation is no longer fully on the solar field, the spraying height is unfortunately quickly reduced.
Once it's in the shadows, it's over. So if you want a nice result you really have to make sure that the fountain is always in the sun.
But a nice gadget for a small fountain or for decoration.

Not only me but also my husband loves this solar fountain. We put 2 on our roof terrace and the gentle splashing calms you down enormously. My mom fell in love with shock and I immediately ordered her one for the garden. The part is great. Just taken out of the box and already "sucking", works perfectly, swims cleanly and straight, all parts are there, I'm very satisfied.

It is very sensitive to shadows, so the beam varies. But in full sun, it has a beautiful ray.

As soon as the entire solar surface is not flooded with light, the pump falls into a kind of abrupt emergency operation.
That's very bad, because my pond is a few meters in front of a wooden fence and the slats cast some shade depending on the time of day.
Since the pump is purely for decoration and pulse-like sprinkler fluids are absolutely not nice, it cannot be used for my pond and is now only in the basement.
